As a kid I remember hearing my Dad use the expression “The Bees Knees.” It tickled me but I didn’t understand what it meant until I was older. It’s an expression that became popular in the 1920′s and it basically meant, “the height of excellence.” We’d use, “cool, wicked, awesome, etc.” these days to convey the same meaning.
I created this wallpaper to honor my Dad on Father’s Day. He passed over 6 years ago and I still miss him so much. He brought joy to my life and so many others…he was the Bee Knees!
Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful Dad’s out there who give of themselves and their time to help create wondrous childhoods for their children!

Whenever I am sharing Reiki I can feel the palms of my hands pulse with love! It’s an incredible feeling that never ceases to amaze me. You would think after 8 years of sharing and teaching Reiki it would seem sorta mundane or normal but it doesn’t. I am still in awe of the Universal Life Force and am honored that I found Reiki and it found me!

I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of the butterflies! They are so incredibly beautiful and delicate. They are also the second largest group of pollinators…next to bees. So they play a very important role here on earth besides being beautiful!
